Security Practices and Data Privacy

Updated this week

Overview

Psyke takes the security of your data seriously. This article explains how Psyke handles your data, what protections are in place, and your responsibilities when using the platform.

Data Hosting and Infrastructure

Psyke's platform is hosted on secure cloud infrastructure with industry-leading providers. All servers are maintained with regular security patches and updates.

Encryption

  • Data in transit – All communications between your browser and Psyke are encrypted using TLS (the technology behind HTTPS). You should always access Psyke via an https:// URL.

  • Data at rest – Data stored in Psyke's databases is encrypted to prevent unauthorised access.

Backups

Psyke performs regular automated backups of all data. In the event of a technical failure, your campaigns, pages, and settings can be restored.

GDPR Compliance

Psyke is committed to compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users in the EU and UK. Key practices include:

  • We only collect the data necessary to provide the service.

  • You retain ownership of your content and data.

  • You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support.

  • Psyke publishes a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) for users who require it.

CCPA Compliance

For users in California, Psyke complies with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). You have the right to know what data is collected, request deletion, and opt out of data sales. Psyke does not sell personal data.

Your Responsibilities When Using Third-Party Scripts

When you add third-party tracking scripts (like Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or GTM) to your Psyke pages, those scripts are governed by the respective provider's privacy policies. You are responsible for:

  • Informing your visitors about the tracking in your Privacy Policy and cookie notice.

  • Obtaining GDPR-required consent before loading tracking scripts.

  • Ensuring the scripts comply with local privacy laws in countries where your pages are served.

Reporting a Security Issue

If you discover a security vulnerability in Psyke, please report it responsibly by emailing our team at [email protected]. We investigate all reports promptly.
